Rohrbach Associates studied alternative locations for the Coralville Branch and, from this study, it was determined that the bank’s present location provided for the best client access and convenience.
The bank’s new programmatic need addressed additional banking offices and client support space, combined with the overall need to remodel the facility.
Goals were to make banking access clearer, implement a user-friendly approach to services, create a signature meeting space for client and corporate use and provide for a 21st century “Retail Banking” operation. Offices and other support areas were moved to the perimeter, allowing for a more open retail lobby and support spaces and clear approach to the walk-up tellers.
All new banking equipment, signage and furnishing were planned and designed into the project. Sustainable materials were used in the interior and exterior design.
